Obtained by Daily Mail, the lengthy voice note has Baldoni expressing remorse over his brash response to Lively¡¯s version of the now-infamous rooftop scene. In the beginning of the now-viral note, Baldoni states that it¡¯s ¡°two in the morning¡±; however, the date when it was sent remains unknown.
One would assume Baldoni's desperate apology would give him an up in the ongoing Blake Lively feud, but the internet has now dubbed his voice note "creepy," with netizens saying it was unprofessional of him to contact his co-star at 2 AM.
What did Justin Baldoni say in his voice note?
The over six-minute voice note has Justin Baldoni acknowledging his flaws and imperfections, stating that he's a "flawed man" and that he's likely to make mistakes. He then apologizes for making Lively feel a certain way and assures her that he will always try to do better.
¡°I am far from perfect. I am a flawed man, as my wife will attest,¡± Baldoni said in the voice note. ¡°And I¡¯m going to fuck up. I¡¯m going to say the wrong thing. I¡¯m going to put my foot in my mouth. I¡¯m going to piss you off, probably, but I will always apologize and find my way back to center. That is one thing I can assure you of. I¡¯m sorry I made you feel that way. That must¡¯ve felt terrible, and I will for sure do better. That was not my best weekend, and I should have given it more time.¡±
His apology came after the contentious issue over rewrites, which was first exposed in Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. The lawsuit included a text exchange where Lively expressed disappointment over Baldoni's response to her edits.
Baldoni goes on to express his desire to build a relationship with Lively, despite acknowledging that their communication via text and voice notes has been challenging for him.
"I love being with people and being in somebody¡¯s space and being face to face, and I feel like that¡¯s where I excel, and I have definitely fallen short at times in our text and voice note exchanges. There¡¯s so much to communicate, and there¡¯s so much happening, and all that to say, I¡¯m just really looking forward to spending time together, and I think that¡¯s going to really go a long way for our chemistry, which I believe is there¡ªhas been there from the start. So I was stoked, damn excited when you wanted to do this film," one person added.

Rather than working in his favor, Baldoni's apology has only added fuel to the fire, with many now criticizing his behavior as inappropriate and unsettling. Many people are pointing out that it was unprofessional of him to reach out to his co-star at 2 AM.
