Netflix¡¯s Adolescence breaks into top 10 most-watched shows, surpassing Bridgerton 2 and Stranger Things 3

Netflix¡¯s Adolescence is not here to play¡ªit is here to dominate. In just three weeks, the show has stormed its way into the all-time Most Popular English TV list with a staggering 96.7M views. To put things in perspective, it has already dethroned Bridgerton Season 2, forcing it out of the top 10, and now it is staring down Stranger Things 3, which barely clings to its spot at number ten.

Meanwhile, The Residence, the latest brainchild of Shonda Rhimes, is struggling to leave a mark. Despite pulling in 8.8M views in its first full week, the whodunit remains underwhelming. While the numbers are not disastrous, they are not screaming renewal-worthy either. Time will tell if Netflix decides to roll the dice on another season, but for now, its fate hangs in the balance.

Million Dollar Secret show on Netflix bags No. 2

In a surprising twist, Netflix¡¯s new reality show Million Dollar Secret snatched third place this week with 3.7M views, proving that audiences love a good dose of drama. Over on the film front, The Life List is leading the charge with a massive 24.4M views. However, things are not looking so bright for the Russo brothers¡¯ The Electric State. With just 7.6M views this week and waning momentum, it is unlikely to land a coveted spot on Netflix¡¯s Most Popular film list. It is a tough pill to swallow for a movie that once seemed destined for greatness.
