Robert Pattinson gushes about director Bong Joon Ho
During the press call, Robert Pattinson was seen singing praises of Bong Joon Ho, calling him one of the top directors in the world. The actor also shared his long-time admiration for Bong's work, citing Memories of Murder as a film that left a lasting impression on him.
"I watched ¡®Memories of Murder¡¯ years ago, and I was amazed at how it navigated between absurdities and serious situations so freely," he said, adding, "Actors want to work with someone who challenges their limits and brings out new possibilities. Director Bong is exactly that kind of filmmaker."
About Mickey 17
Based on the novel of the same name by Edward Ashton, Mickey 17 is about a disposable employee who is sent to the ice world of Niflheim as part of a human expedition to colonize the planet. Whenever Mickey17 dies, a new clone is regenerated with most of his memories intact, allowing him to continue his work on the planet.
The film will be released in the US on March 7.
