According to an Associated Press report, the rapper and actor Kid Cudi is expected to testify at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial, taking the witness stand either on Wednesday or Thursday to tell the jury about his brief relationship with him 14 years ago, when Combs' ex-girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie.
Meanwhile, Cassie Ventura testified last week that Combs was enraged when she left him for some time in 2011 and again started dating Cudi, a.k.a. Scott Mescudi.

Accusations on 'Diddy' Combs and more
Cassie said as she left Combs' Los Angeles home for the last time that year that he left a large bruise on her back and kicked her. While in sentencing documents, prosecutors have argued that Combs was so agitated that he planned a firebombing of Cudi's convertible.
At the conclusion of Tuesday's court hearing, a prosecutor noted that Mescudi will be the third witness after the conclusion of a federal agent's testimony regarding the items discovered by investigators during the raids conducted on Combs' Florida house the previous year.
However, Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges that he leveraged his fame and fortune to oversee a two-decade-long racketeering enterprise that controlled Cassie and others via threats and violence.

Last week, Cassie testified that 'Diddy' Combs arranged for her to meet the 'Day n Nite' rapper several times in 2011 to work on music. She also said that her relationship with Cudi began late in the year, and she got a burner phone so that they could communicate without Combs knowing about it.
On the other hand, the lawyers of Diddy say that evidence in the case reflects domestic violence, not anything leading to a criminal racket or sex trafficking.
