15 Quintal Panjiri Sent For Protesting Farmers, So They Can Keep Up Their Strength In The Biting Cold
Truck loads of pinnis, fruits, vegetables, and other times have been sent to them for their well-being and now 15 quintal panjiri was prepared in Sekhan village gurudwara for the farmers.
Indian farmers have been protesting against the farm laws, at the New Delhi border, for nineteen days now. Needless to say, the cold weather is not helping their cause and they need to take care of their well being and immunity, in order to keep at it.

Truck loads of pinnis, fruits, vegetables, and other times have been sent to them for their well-being and now 15 quintal panjiri was prepared in Sekhan village gurudwara for the farmers, reported The Tribune.
A team of locals reached the farmers at the New Delhi border, with thousands of packets of panjiri and bottles of water, today morning.
The report further added that while the group was busy packing the panjiri, some NRIs sent Rs 2 lakh to the Chhote Sahibzade Welfare Society at Sekhan and Surjitpura villages to help the farmers.
Each packet that was packaged by the locals contains 250 gm panjiri.
¡°Panjiri is an inseparable part of our diet in rural side, and its consumption increases during winter. Our brothers, elders, mothers and sisters, who are fighting for us in this biting cold at New Delhi, need it more than us,¡± said Bikram Singh, a local.

The locals had coordinated with people who took the panjiri and water bottles, in a truck to the border. They were in touch with various farm unions and the panjiri was served to the farmers as per their requirements.
"They had taken a detailed feedback about the area, where they should serve panjiri, as protests were taking place at different areas,¡± the locals said.
