23-year-old man claims to earn Rs 4 crore annually because of 'sleepless nights' and no 'work-life balance'
A 23-year-old internet marketer's viral post on X boasting about earning $500,000 annually sparked backlash for promoting poor work-life balance and sleepless nights. Many criticized the post as tone-deaf, especially after a recent death in India linked to work stress.
When it comes to living a successful life, the idea that everyone takes their path is not new. No one's route to success is comparable to another because everyone faces unique challenges and aspirations. On a similar note, a 23-year-old 'internet marketer' described how he came to earn USD 5,00,000 per year at such a young age.
What did the 23-year-old share?
I'm 23yrs old earning over $5,00,000 annually.

When students of my age were partying & chilling, I was:
- Having sleepless nights working
- Missing social events
- Dealing with failures/rejection
- Losing work-life balance
But I chose that. Are you building your dream life?
The tweet became viral on social media but for entirely the wrong reasons. Most people appeared to be offended by the man's promotion of 'bad work-life balance' and 'sleepless nights working' to obtain better results.
The post appeared tone-deaf to many, as India recently mourned the loss of a young woman, who passed away owing to work stress.
The post went viral, eliciting numerous reactions. Most individuals rebuked the man and reminded him that everyone has different aspirations, but a few dubbed his message fake. Some also claimed that they earned more than him while living their lives how they wished.
The caption of the post read: "I'm 23yrs old earning over $5,00,000 annually. Not everyone dreams of earning so much, stop making it a fancy show off.
You worked hard, you got your money.
Live with it.
Stop creating that pressure for the younger lot that if they don¡¯t earn this much, they are useless.
I was partying at that age and now earning more then what you have mentioned.

Many 23 year olds are still partying, chilling, figuring out, and taking it easy! Kudos to you for setting a great example to this generation.
