AI art seems to be the new viral fad. People are hopping on the trend and coming up with their own renditions of ¡°art¡± through descriptions they feed to an AI. Recently, AI-generated images of Indian women and men went viral after the depictions raised a row among users online. Now, a new artist has shown up to shock people with their AI-made wedding portraits.
Twitter User Generates AI Art Portraying 'Stereotypical' Desi Wedding Couples
Twitter user Baghardh shared images of wedding shoots from different states of India, and the depictions were interesting, to say the least. The artist shared images from four states of the count. There was a couple depicted from Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The depictions certainly incited a discussion among the users online.

While there were those who simply praised the artist, there were also those who had a lot to oppose when it came to the AI-generated portraits. A user wrote, ¡°This is a great image. But most Punjabis in the world are non-Sikh. Would be nice to have them too.¡± A fellow questioned the artist¡¯s biases, ¡°So all the Punjabi couples look rich, smiling and well dressed. But U.P/Bihar couples look poor, unhappy and untidy dressed?¡±

The AI Art Garnered Nearly 300K Views On Twitter
Another commenter shared their own opinions on the art, ¡°1st one is ok but the other one is not.¡± It was only a matter of time before the internet pointed out the three hands and the excessive fingers on the Punjabi couple. A user found the mistakes in the image and wrote, ¡°Horrific,¡± and posted a screenshot of the mistake in the image. While another user joked, ¡°Punjab mein ladkiyon ke 3 haath hote hai kya?¡±

A commenter also pointed out, ¡°The sikh woman has 3 hands, the sikh man has 20 fingers.¡± Obviously, there were people who did not notice the error in the AI-generated images altogether and simply praised the poster, ¡°First ai thread ahm ahm I wholeheartedly approve, what's with the fingers though.¡± Another fan of the AI art wanted their own state depicted as they commented, ¡°madhya pradesh ka nahi banya apne,¡± while another lauded the OP, ¡°These are so great!!!¡±

The artist had to face a lot of criticism on the internet as well. A cynic commented, ¡°This looks like a funny set of pics. Are you trying to make us all laugh?¡± Another gentleman complained, ¡°Looks so artificial though.¡± A user firmly showed his disapproval of the art and wrote, ¡°Stop this AI nonsense.¡±
