Bengaluru Woman's Remarkable Multitasking In Traffic Goes Viral
A picture of a woman working on her laptop while riding pillion on a Rapido bike through the busy streets of Bengaluru is going viral on the internet. The photograph was taken along the Koramangala-Agara-Outer Ring Road stretch.
Bengaluru, often referred to as India's Silicon Valley, has gained notoriety for its infamous traffic conditions. The city's meteoric rise as a major IT and business hub has led to a rapid increase in population and a surge in the number of vehicles on its roads.
With a high concentration of tech companies, educational institutions, and a growing population, Bengaluru experiences heavy traffic congestion on a daily basis.
The city's infrastructure, originally designed to accommodate a smaller population, struggles to cope with the exponential growth in vehicles. Ongoing construction projects, frequent road repairs, and the presence of several arterial roads that intersect at major junctions further exacerbate the congestion.
Similar news has been making the rounds since yesterday, with people enraged on social media about being stuck in traffic for hours. Amidst this, a photo has gone viral on the internet. Have a look.

An image of a woman working on her laptop while riding pillion on a Rapido bike through the busy streets of Bengaluru is going viral on the internet, illustrating just that. The photograph was taken along the Koramangala-Agara-Outer Ring Road stretch.
Nihar Lohiya posted a picture of it on Twitter, and it quickly went viral. "Peak Bangalore moment. Women working on a rapido bike ride to the office," the caption read.
The traffic on the route, however, was caused by a fallen tree damaged by a truck near the military gate of the service road near Ibbalur on the Outer Ring Road.

Sujeetha Salman, the deputy commissioner of police (traffic south division), shared information with commuters on Twitter and asked them to "take an alternate road route."
People said this 'should not be glorified'
Lohiya's post grabbed attention and received a number of comments.
A man wrote, "Imagine the pressure, the feeling of being lost in your own city where you work 10+ hours a day, the disdain. All she required was a smooth, traffic-free road where she could commute peacefully from her home and not account for the "extra" hour it takes to commute through a 5-kilometer stretch."
