Traffic Chaos In Bengaluru: Frustrated Locals Declare 'Work From Road' As The Next City Trend
The big tree on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) was caused by a truck collision. Bengaluru police recommended commuters choose an alternate route until the sluggish traffic problem was resolved.
Bengaluru, the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka, has gained a reputation for its notorious traffic congestion. Bengaluru has experienced significant urban growth in recent decades.
The city's booming IT industry and the establishment of numerous multinational companies have led to a significant influx of people from different parts of the country and abroad.
The rapid increase in population has put immense pressure on the city's infrastructure, including its road networks, and it could be classified as one of the main reasons for so much traffic.
Some locals just couldn't hold it in this Tuesday morning and were enraged on social media about the traffic. Here's what happened.
Locals are enraged on social media after being stuck in traffic for exhaustingly long hours
After becoming trapped in a nightmare traffic gridlock in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning, several motorists were forced to leave their automobiles or return home.
It was all the result of a fallen tree. The big tree on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) was caused by a truck collision, according to authorities. In a social media update, Bengaluru police recommended commuters choose an alternate route until the sluggish traffic problem was resolved.
The city's traffic advisory tweeted, "Traffic Advisory: Slow moving traffic due to a HTV breakdown in service road from 27th main towards Ibbalur. It will be moved shortly. Kindly co-operate."

In a time of crisis, the government requested civilian cooperation. While stuck in traffic, the bulk of commuters vented their displeasure on social media. The morning rush hour merely led to a tremendous gridlock that lasted hours, with motorists pouring onto highways from all sides.
People took out their frustration on social media
Among the turmoil, a considerable number of residents expressed their displeasure on Twitter, emphasising the city's faulty traffic management system. Some claimed to have decided to return home, while others claimed to have abandoned their automobiles in the middle of the road.
A frustrated local wrote, "If traffic police concentrate on traffic management rather than hiding behind trees or pillars to collect fines, these types of cases would not occur."
