The messages usually ask drivers to not be on a call or text while driving, or a gentle speed limit reminder and things along these lines.

People on the road in Mumbai Mumbai were left in disbelief after spotting a controversial message on an LED notice board. "Smoke Weed Everyday" was the statement flashing on the display.
Akshat Deora, a Twitter user, uploaded a video of the display board. The Haji Ali dargah road was where the LED board displayed the message.
"Haji Ali, Mumbai - diversion sign now says "smoke weed everyday" was the caption of the 12-second video. The video appears to have been filmed from inside a moving car, which is how the original poster initially came across it. The video is now making the rounds on social media and has left people very confused.
But don't get too excited as smoking weed is illegal in India. Cannabis, also known as pot, is a psychoactive narcotic drug, and its use and sale are both prohibited in India.
According to the regulations of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985, having even a tiny amount of marijuana in your possession can put you in jail for years on end, on top of that, a heavy charge will also be levied on you that you and your weed-smelling pocket will not appreciate.
The message left everyone confused
The video, posted on Twitter, has so far gathered more than 3,000 views with a few likes and comments.
