The Motor Vehicle Department forwarded the photographic evidence captured by the advanced cameras, revealing the man's violation of traffic regulations.
This incident sparked domestic turmoil within his family, ultimately leading to his arrest and the filing of a police case.
Hailing from Idukki, the man ventured through the city streets on April 25, riding a scooter with his female companion, neglecting to wear a helmet.
Since the wife was listed as the vehicle's owner according to its Registration Certificate, a notification containing the violation details and the corresponding fine was sent to her mobile phone.

She complained to Karamana police on May 5, alleging that the husband had maltreated her and their three-year-old child.
"He was taken into custody based on her statement. An arrest was recorded under IPC 321 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 294 (obscene acts) and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act (assault or neglect of child)," a police officer told PTI.
He added that the man was produced before a court, which remanded him in judicial custody later.
