Karwa Chauth is a festival celebrated by Hindu women all across the world for the long life of their husbands. These women observe a fast for them. But imagine a woman doing all the hard work and finding out her husband had been cheating on her.

A woman caught her husband shopping with his girlfriend for karwa chauth in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. After the woman found out about her husband, she beat him up in the middle of a busy market. Serves him right if you ask us.

A video has gone viral showing the wife beating her husband up. In the footage, it appears that a group of women, including the wife and her mother¡ªwho happened to be shopping at the market at the same time¡ªoverpowered the man and decided to thrash him in the middle of the road. When the girlfriend tried to rescue the man, she too got beaten up. Sounds like sweet justice.
The shopkeeper can be heard shouting 'baahar, baahar', asking them not to create a ruckus outside his shop. Poor guy. The shopkeeper. Not the husband.
The video was shared on Twitter by a user named Ankit Tiwari. The caption along the video read, "On the day of Karva Chauth, the husband had come to get another woman shopping. Wife caught."

Circle Officer, Anshu Jain, said, "We reached Kotwali as soon as we got the news of the incident happening, there we discovered that a man & woman was bitten by ladies. Out of those ladies, one was that man¡¯s wife. She was hitting her husband because he was shopping with his girlfriend in Karwa Chauth." After officers intervened and charged the husband with one count of breach of peace.
Apparently, the woman was living with her mother after a fight with her husband. But for Karwa Chauth, she had gone out shopping with her mother while her husband went shopping with his girlfriend. This is when both parties met. Almost as if god planned the entire thing himself.
