The two arrived at their discharge ceremony in a black Carnival van and were warmly welcomed by their staff before stepping out to greet reporters. Posing for photos side by side, the duo looked radiant and visibly moved. Jimin, with his soft smile and calm demeanour, stood beside a shy and humble-looking Jungkook. Still dressed in their military uniforms, both also took a moment to wave at fans who had been waiting outside the base since early morning.

While greeting the press, Jungkook shyly admitted that it had been so long since they last stood in front of cameras, he felt extra awkward, especially without any makeup on. ¡°It¡¯s been difficult,¡± he said with a shy smile, before glancing over at Jimin. For those unfamiliar, Jimin and Jungkook served together at the Army's 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, under the companionship program. With their return, they become the fifth and sixth members of BTS to complete their mandatory service. Their appearance comes just a day after RM and V were officially discharged on June 10. Jin, the eldest member, completed his service in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October 2024. With Suga set to be discharged on June 21, the group will soon be complete once again, a moment ARMYs have been eagerly anticipating.
