Hindu Raksha Dal Workers Allegedly 'Lock' Gates Of Chinese Phone Company In Protest
Based on a video that was shared on Twitter by a corespondent for Times of India, members of the fringe group Hindu Raksha Dal held a protest outside factory of Chinese mobile phone company Oppo in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
After the recent face-off between China and India at the Ladakh border, Indians were left infuriated. While on the one hand, 'boycott Chinese products' trended online, on the other hand, people went to the extent of breaking Chinese products they already owned, claim reports.
Based on a video that was shared on Twitter by a corespondent for Times of India, members of the fringe group Hindu Raksha Dal allegedly held a protest outside the factory of Chinese mobile phone company Oppo in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

In the short clip, the members can be seen 'locking' up the factory.The video is now being circulated on social media ever since it was first posted.

According to a New Indian Express report, members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union were also part of the protest. The report further added that the Gautam Buddh Nagar police has lodged an FIR against Hindu Raksha Dal president Bhupendra Toma and the group's district-unit convener Praveen Kumar.
The FIR includes 32 protesters, which includes 30 unidentified people who participated in the protest which is in direct violation of the restrictions on public gatherings imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the members of Bharatiya Kisan Union said, "It was an act of cowardice by China against our soldiers. 20 of our soldiers got martyred and others were injured. Hence, to oppose Chinese products, we have burnt effigies of Chinese products and China's President Xi Jinping. We also set on fire a flag of China."
"All members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union are ready to fight. There is anger across the country and also among people in Noida. We will burn effigies like this in protest", he added.
