Bizarre Afterlife Hypothesis Offers An Explanation About D¨¦j¨¤ Vu, Claims One Man
Brandon Monhollen shared his theory on TikTok. He also theorised why we occasionally experience d¨¦j¨¤ vu. The video is a little morbid, but fascinating.
One man has revealed his strange theory regarding what he believes will happen to us after we pass away. In addition to attempting to explain what happens when you die, the man who shared the conspiracy on TikTok also theorised why we occasionally experience d¨¦j¨¤ vu.
Even though it's a little morbid, it's fascinating. Here's what he said.
Man's theory about deja vu gives an insight
A TikTok user posed the following query to TikToker Brandon Monhollen: "What's a conspiracy theory that absolutely blows your mind?" In his video, Monhollen detailed a theory he'd read about recently which he found 'seriously intriguing', saying in the caption he hoped it 'gains some traction'. I don't know if this is a conspiracy theory, but I read this about six months ago," he admitted.
"What if the door to another hospital is the light at the end of the tunnel when we pass away? When we are born, the only reason we cry is that we remember everything from our previous existence and are grieving the fact that we passed away and lost everything."
He also adds, "Patches of memory remain as you mature and begin to forget your past life and concentrate on the life you have now, and that memory causes d¨¦j¨¤ vu."
People on the internet thought it makes sense
While some social media users expressed their continued scepticism about the theory or claimed it sounded like a Black Mirror episode, others acknowledged they 'don't hate' the theory and thought it makes sense.
As per reports, a person thought it was pretty amazing because they added, "Did you have to... omg... not going to sleep for a week."
One person wrote on TikTok: "And that's the reason why we have certain anxieties or fears of something is because of our past lives." Others also made an effort to strengthen the theory. Another person said: "I believe in God, but maybe he keeps sending people back until the final judgement lol if they haven't been bad enough for hell or good enough for heaven."
Another TikTok user who also happens to be a doctor thinks there might be a simpler explanation for the side note about d¨¦j¨¤ vu.
Dr Karan Raj clarified in a most recent video: "Your brain is having a problem. It occurs when a new short-term memory is inadvertently stored in the long-term memory, making it seem like it has already happened because our brain interprets it as an old memory."
"It's just sloppy admin by your brain," he continued.
