New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern Visits Hindu Temple To Offer Prayers
Video of Jacinda Ardern New Zealand PM visiting Radhe Krishna temple in Auckland is going viral on the internet and winning people's hearts.
Jacinda Ardern has become one of the most loved leaders in the world. Be it the way she handled the terrorist attack that took place in a mosque in New Zealand last year or the way she led the country during the pandemic, Ardern has set an example for leaders around the world.
While in India some ministers refused to visit a holy place of a religion not their own, the following video of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern visiting a temple, reportedly in Auckland, is going viral. Reports say it was the Shri Radha Krishna temple.
In the video one can see her getting out of a car and coming inside the temple. She then takes her shoes off because Hindus usually do that when entering a place of worship. She greets people in the temple with a respectful namaste and proceeds.

A loud conch plays when Jacinda enters the temple where a priest carries out some ritual while chanting mantras in Sanskrit. She stands with her hands folded, in grace, poise and patience as the priest goes on with rituals. He decks her with a holy cloth which she humbly bows down to accept.
Throughout her time in the temple, Ardern does not seem out of place. She smiles at everyone once the priest seems to be done with the mantras.
The video has gone viral and people are sharing it with love and respect calling Jacinda Ardern the leader who respects all religions.

It is not that she visited a temple that is remarkable. Her ability to merge into the ambience, as she had done when she visited the Mosque days after the tragedy, is what marks her out.
