Police in Las Vegas, U.S., found more than 100 kg of cocaine worth $10.5 million hidden among a truckload of tomatoes thanks to a sniffer dog.
Detectives had initially stopped the truck for erratic driving around 2:30 am local time on Friday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a post on Facebook.

¡°The nervous driver had a story that didn¡¯t add up,¡± the department said. This is when officers called a K9 named Nuggetz, who alerted them to the presence of drugs.
"LVMPD K9 Nuggetz indicated a positive alert for drugs which led to a search. Among the load of tomatoes, we found 230 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $10.5 million dollars," they said on the post.

The driver and a passenger ¡ª identified as Nanak Singh and Chandra Prakash ¡ª were arrested and booked on charges of trafficking a controlled, Newsweek reported.
Last year, a heartwarming moment captured on camera showed a retired police dog tearing up after a surprise reunion with her former handler.
Wangwang, an eight-year-old German shepherd, worked as a sniffer dog at security checkpoints in Xichuan county in Henan province, central China, the Daily Star reported.
The eight-year-old German Shepherd was adopted after she retired in June 2019. The move meant that Wangwang and her handler were separated after years of working together.

The police handler decided to give a surprise visit to his friend. The police officer was seen outside Wangwang's home, calling for her.
As she realises who's waiting for her, a very excitable Wangwang rushes out of the front door to greet her old friend, running up to him before immediately lying on the floor for cuddles.
While rubbing up against the police officer's legs Wangwang appears to let out a little cry.
When the patrol unit heads back to their police vehicle, the loyal dog refuses to let them go and sits right by the handler. Wangwang rubs on his legs and appears to tear up while soaking in the moment.
