After PewDiePie, MrBeast Declares War Against T-Series For Most Subscribed YouTube Spot
MrBeast is reigniting PewDiePie left dormant after letting the Indian music label T-Series win the tag for the most subscribed channel on YouTube. Now, MrBeast is once again starting a war against the music label.
Desi internet users assemble! It looks like the years-old war on the internet is about to begin once again. Back in 2018, it was beloved Youtuber PewDiePie who first started an official feud with the Indian music label T-Series. The two channels went head-to-head and competed for the title of the most subscribed tag.
PewDiePie Fans Wreak Havoc To Help The YouTuber Win Against T-Series
With Pewd¡¯s official proclamation of war against the Indian channel, worldwide campaigns ensued. PewDiePie fans lined up to win their favourite Youtuber the coveted tag. Not only did fans make new accounts just to subscribe to PewDiePie, but they also did way crazier stuff to gain numbers for the Youtube sensation.
The ¡°Subscribe To PewDiePie¡± slogan was everywhere. From online posts, comment sections, and live streams to real-life billboards and hoardings. One of his fans even went far enough to hijack over 50,000 printers with one message which was to urge people to subscribe to PewDiePie.
Well, it was not only the PewDiePie fans who went above and beyond to win the race. The desi audience too pulled their resources and subscribed to the T-series channel. The movement became evident to audiences far and wide to such an extent that even the CEO of T-Series Bhushan Kumar issued an official video on Twitter and encouraged the Indian subscribers to show up and support the channel.
While at first, the battle was much of a joke and more for fun than rivalry, things turned ugly soon. As with everything on the Internet, this movement too also took a turn for the worse. Fans of PewDiePie were seen spewing hate against Indians on the internet which led to him shutting down any such activities and even donating to an NGO that supports Indian children.
The absurdity reached its peak when the Delhi High Court orders the removal of PewDiePie¡¯s diss tracks from Youtube in India.
MrBeast Announces New War Against T-Series After PewDiePie
Seeing as a few years ago PewDiePie was unable to ace T-Series with it now being the most subscribed YouTube channel with around 247 million subscribers, Internet sensation MrBeast is stepping up to the task.
In a recent tweet, Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast let people know of his intentions to surpass the Indian music label. MrBeast¡¯s official main channel currently has nearly 80 million subscribers less than T-Series. With how successful Jimmy¡¯s brand is, it might actually be possible for him to leave the music label behind to bite the dust. From the looks of it, fans can expect another epic battle to ensue soon enough.
