People Are Loving Nagaland Singer's Soulful Rendition Of Kishore Kumar's Bengali Song

With a rendition of one of his famous Bengali songs, a singer from Nagaland paid a melodious homage to Kishore Kumar. NK Naga sang an outstanding cover of the 1958 movie Lukochuri's 'Shing Nei Tobu Naam Tar Singha'.

Together with Mala Sinha and Anita Guha, the film starred Kishore Kumar in a dual role.

Naga's perfect accent and pronunciation of Bengali words won people's hearts, and his video has gone viral. People cannot stop praising Naga for his skills.

Talking to Nagaland Express he said he is "expressing happiness through music and showing unity through music. Kishore Da is my inspiration and by singing Bengali I¡¯m trying to express my love for Bengalis."

Sometime ago, Ladakhi folk singers' rendition of 'Sandese aate hai' went viral too. Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Ladakh's mountain ranges, a man can be seen singing while playing the guitar, against a background of fluttering flags. There is also a female singer alongside him who joins in harmonising beautifully.

After the video went viral, it was revealed that the two singers are famous Ladakhi folk artists, Padma Dolkar and Stanzin Norgais.
