A beautiful cover of 'Sandese Aate Hain' is taking the social media by storm. It is one of the most iconic Bollywood songs from JP Dutta's cult film Border.
Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Ladakh's mountain ranges, a man is singing while playing the guitar in his hand, in the background fluttering flags set a mood. There is also a female singer alongside him who joins in harmonising beautifully.
The hit from the 1997 film sung by Sonu Nigam, Roopkumar Rathod continues to have a place in the hearts of music lovers and fans are now loving this soulful rendition of the song by the two musicians. This cover was specially made on Army Day as a salute to soldiers.
After the video went viral, it was revealed that the two singers are famous Ladakhi folk artists, Padma Dolkar and Stanzin Norgais.
