Recently, the Government of India (GoI) official handle turned to X (formerly known as Twitter) and uploaded a video of India's last road in Dhanushkodi, which features a breathtaking aerial perspective.
This video, recorded by Thirumala Sanchari, shows the road to Arichal Munai, which is regarded to be Southern India's last road.

The road is a part of a town, now abandoned, called Dhanushkodi
Dhanushkodi is a noteworthy site on the map since it marks the point where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. The settlement is around 18 km from Rameswaram.
The town was previously a prosperous community with a train station, post office, and other services. However, the town was destroyed by a severe hurricane in 1964 and is now referred to as a ghost town, according to the Times of India.

The video was shared on February 6 and has received over 10,000 views. The scenic splendor of the video has captivated people on social media. Several people responded overwhelmingly warmly, with many expressing their admiration for the stunning vistas.
One user wrote, ¡°It looks like a Magnificent Shivling! Har Har Mahadev!¡± Another commenter proposed that "Vehicles should be banned, except for small electric ones, to preserve the area."
Meanwhile, Thirumala Sanchari, the social media user who recorded the video, hailed the government for its "support and recognition."
