Truck fell off of an unfinished bridge
A new viral video of a truck driver unknowingly speeding on a bridge until he falls off the unfinished structure has shaken the Internet. In the terrifying video, people at the side of the road are seen screaming at the vehicle, trying to halt its pace. But their flailing hands are to no avail as the truck driver misses their warnings and plunges his vehicle off the bridge.
People online were furious after witnessing the dire situation, and they questioned the absence of warning signs and barricades at such an accident-prone junction. A user typed his shock in shades of sarcasm and wrote, "Dang if only there was some sort of sign that could be placed to tell people the bridge is under construction."
People expressed their frustration online
Another commenter expressed their frustration with the mismanagement of the construction site: ¡°There are barricades all over India, why is it not present at this site. So inhumane.¡± Continuing on the same notes, folks questioned the lack of barriers at the site as one expressed their shock, ¡°barriers would help, why not put a few signs and stop signs and blockades up??? it doesn't take that long.........that trucker was speeding too....most likely dead or crippled.¡±
Fellow users commented about the lack of safety on the bridge and were appalled that it was even open for vehicles despite its obvious flaws. People also shared their own solutions to block vehicles from entering the road: "You just need a wooden barricade written in it (under construction) or just cut that tree behind you dam*it."
Among the concerned problem-solvers were those who reckoned that if the people waving their hands at the truck driver were standing further back along the road, they could have prevented the accident, ¡°Maybe stand a bit further back if you want to warn people.¡±
