Watch: Terrifying Video Shows Two Young Boys Racing On Railway Tracks & Getting Saved By A Whisker
Two young boys almost died when they decided to race on a railway track. An incoming train's dashcam recorded the two children getting out the heavy vehicle's way at the last moment while it was passing by the railway track they were playing on.
Being careless around railway tracks is a big NO because it can lead to fatal consequences. Railway tracks are usually unsupervised and it is considered common sense to not put yourself in danger around them. You never know when a train is scheduled to pass by.
Another big worry is about the children being reckless while playing. Children have a very low sense of danger and put themselves in harm's way without thinking twice. However, this can be extremely dangerous if things go wrong.
Often, we come across stories how kids dying after getting hit by incoming trains. Railway mishaps are very common and especially if you have kids around.
Some parents have to sit with their kids before travelling somewhere and teach them about the dos and don'ts of such hazards. Despite that being the case with most parents, children act out and do whatever they want.
This hair-raising video will prove exactly that.
Two young boys almost died when they decided to race on a railway track. An incoming train's dashcam recorded the two children getting out of the heavy vehicle's way at the last moment.
One of the boys moves towards the unused railway track as the train horn warns him about its arrival. However, the other boy gets saved by a cat's whisker as he throws himself against the bridge railing to save himself.
The video was shared by Metrolinx - a Crown agency of the Government of Canada's Ontario that manages and integrates road and public transport in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area - with the caption, "This heart-stopping video shows the dangers of walking on railways. Watch as young people come within a foot of serious injury or death while trespassing on a rail bridge in Toronto. Talk to your kids about rail safety."
