In the video, which aired on a state news channel, Priyanka is seen asking an elderly woman, who had removed her footwear to meet her, to wear her shoes and come back.
In a thoughtful gesture, Priyanka also offered the woman tender coconut water to help her cool down in the heat. The elderly woman was visibly touched by Priyanka's kindness.
Priyanka's warmth extended to children as well, as she chatted with them, asking if they enjoyed their food, with the same care as if she were speaking to her own family.
Kannan shares that the people of Tanjore proudly say they've never seen such a kind-hearted collector before.
Kannan also highlighted Priyanka¡¯s impressive educational background, mentioning that she completed her engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and studied management at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
