What actually happened at the Trump 'music' rally?
At his recent town hall in Pennsylvania, former President Trump opted for an unconventional approach by playing music for over half an hour, leading to viral videos on social media.
It first began when after about 30 minutes in, after a medical incident, Trump requested "Ave Maria" to be played following a call for a doctor, and an instrumental version filled the air.
When a second disruption occurred, he humorously asked, ¡°Would anybody else like to faint?¡± before again requesting "Ave Maria," expressing a desire for someone to open the doors.
He then asked for Luciano Pavarotti's rendition to be played louder, a request his staff quickly fulfilled.
Then, instead of fielding more questions, Trump chose to fill the time with music, dancing along to hits like the Village People¡¯s "YMCA," Sinead O'Connor¡¯s "Nothing Compares 2 U," Rufus Wainwright¡¯s version of "Hallelujah," and Guns N' Roses' "November Rain."
He said, ¡°Let¡¯s make it into a music fest. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right? Isn¡¯t that beautiful?¡±
How did people react?
On X, the official account for Kamala Harris's campaign shared, ¡°Trump appears lost, confused, and frozen on stage as multiple songs play for 30+ minutes and the crowd pours out of the venue early.¡±
