X users slam iPhone 16E launch: Following the highly anticipated iPhone 16E release, a social media user recently made fun of Apple CEO Tim Cook. The user's critique sparked debates between Apple supporters and critics, swiftly gathering traction.
Although Apple is well-known for its high-end devices and innovative technologies, not everyone is pleased with its recent offering. Concerns over cost, lack of innovation, and whether the new model delivers anything different from its predecessors have been raised by several users.
Customers anticipating more than minor upgrades are becoming increasingly frustrated, as evidenced by the online outcry. However, is the criticism warranted, or is it merely a fad on social media? Let's look at the situation more closely.

Design and Display: The Face ID mechanism for safe facial recognition is housed in the 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch on the iPhone 16e. It features an Action button instead of the conventional mute switch on the iPhone SE series.
Users may rapidly access various features, such as turning on Do Not Disturb mode or starting the camera by pressing the Action button. Apple has also included a USB-C port on the iPhone 16e.
Performance with A18 Chip: The iPhone 16e, which is powered by Apple's A18 chip, performs better than its predecessors. Apple claims that the 6-core CPU of the A18 chip is up to 80% faster than that of the A13 Bionic chip, which powered the iPhone 11.
The device also has a 16-core neural engine and a 4-core GPU to manage machine learning tasks better. Apple claims the Neural Engine is up to six times faster than the A13 at processing AI models.
Apple Intelligence, a collection of AI-powered capabilities, is also supported by the iPhone 16e. This covers features like ChatGPT integration, Genmoji, and Writing Tools.
Camera: The iPhone 16e has a 48MP Fusion rear camera that can take crisp, high-definition pictures. Users can enlarge images without sacrificing quality with the camera system's 2x Telephoto zoom capability.

The device has a 12MP autofocus True Depth camera on the front. The iPhone 16e supports Dolby Vision and 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
Battery Life: According to Apple, the iPhone 16e can play videos for up to 26 hours. In addition to supporting wireless charging, the gadget has satellite connectivity services like Emergency SOS and Messages by Satellite, giving customers alternatives for communication in places with spotty cellular coverage.
It can also automatically notify emergency services in a serious collision thanks to its crash detection feature. It is unknown, though, if Indians can also use this emergency option and if it is limited to the US market.
