With their incredible sense of smell and amazing ability to follow commands, military dogs prove to be the most reliable warriors. These warriors go through immense training and play a crucial role in the Indian Armed Forces.
After their retirement some of them work as guard dogs and some are shifted to rehabilitation centers, where there is little scope for physical activity. To make their life even better, an Army veteran has tweeted, urging people to adopt these dogs.
His caption reads as ¡®These dogs have served the Nation for seven years, now age catching. You can adopt them and give them a loving home. All you need to do is submit an affidavit.¡¯

After reading his tweet, people started reacting to it with their queries:
1.
God bless the Indian army. Sir, I might not be able to adopt (due to some personal compulsions) but is there a way to contribute financially, on a regular basis?

Sir, we had one almost 15 years ago and none after. Will they adapt to new settings at this age? Will it not be troublesome for them? I¡¯m sorry if my question is too lame and basic.

They are beautiful animals who do. Both my dogs are adopted. One was adopted when she was five years old. All they need is a little bit of love and affection to give you unconditional love

These dogs have spent the better part of their lives serving their country. You can't possibly find a pet more loyal than that, not to mention they deserve all the love and care they can get.
