On May 15, BTS' youngest member, Jungkook, took to Weverse to interact with fans and was in a happy mood. Toward the end of his comments with ARMY, he told fans that he was heading to the gym for his work out.
With less than a month to go until the long-awaited reunion of the world's biggest boy band, BTS, excitement is building. Fans, known as ARMY, are already planning trips to Seoul to celebrate the group's anniversary and upcoming reunion in June. And it seems the members themselves are just as eager.
On May 15, BTS' youngest member, Jungkook, took to Weverse to interact with fans and was in a happy mood. He started by checking in and asking how everyone was doing, then mentioned that his military discharge was approaching and that he'd be getting out soon. Toward the end of his comments, he added that he was heading to the gym.

The singer first posted, "I'm about to go work out now," and followed it up with, "Today is shoulder day," indicating that he would be focusing on shoulder exercises.

ARMY in 'panic'
Jungkook's gym update sent ARMY into "panic mode" ¡ª but for a hilariously relatable reason. Fans joked that they were not emotionally prepared for a buffer, more muscular Jungkook.
The frenzy comes shortly after a viral photo of Jungkook and fellow member V (aka Kim Taehyung), lovingly dubbed TaeKook, showed the two flexing their gains at the gym.
With discharge day nearing, fans, especially on X (formerly known as Twitter) are bracing themselves for an even more swole Jungkook ¡ª and many say they simply won't survive it.

BTS' upcoming reunion
The seven-member group ¡ª Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook ¡ª is expected to reunite in June 2025, once all members have completed their mandatory military service. With Jin and J-Hope already discharged, the remaining members are set to return soon.
RM and V are scheduled to be relieved from their duties on June 10, 2025, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11. SUGA, who has been serving as a public service worker, is expected to complete his duties on June 21, 2025.
