Bengaluru scooty rider hits ISRO scientist's car
Aashish Lamba, the scientist, recalled the incident in a post uploaded on 'X,' explaining that while en route to the ISRO office, an individual on a scooter who was not wearing a helmet quickly cut in front of his automobile.
To prevent a collision, Aashish had to use his brakes unexpectedly, causing the scooter rider to stop in front of his car and unleash a tirade of verbal abuse.

Aashish detailed the occurrence on August 29 near the freshly constructed HAL underpass on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru, sharing both video footage and photos obtained by the car's dashboard camera.
In a fit of rage, the scooter rider approached his car, berated him, and even stomped on his car tyres. "Yesterday, while going to ISRO office, near newly constructed HAL underpass, a person on scooty (KA03KM8826) without helmet was driving recklessly and suddenly coming in front of our car, so We had to apply sudden brake," he said in the caption.
"He came to our car and started fighting," he said in a later tweet. He kicked my car twice and flew away. Please perform the necessary."

The Internet was angry about the incident
Following that, users on social media began to react to the incident, calling for stricter actions to be taken against such disorderly behaviour. "Any update on the arrest?" one user wondered. "ISRO scientist is the victim. What portions are you slapping on the uncivilised goon? Please publicise his arrest."
This has become a daily affair now.

Whatever it is doing to BrandBengaluru, I'm afraid, is not on the pleasing side.
"Sad to hear that tonnes of road rage cases are being registered by the day in Bengaluru," said another.

A private instructor was detained in Surat recently for allegedly impersonating an ISRO scientist and delivering media interviews claiming to have constructed the lander module for the Chandrayaan-3 moon project.
Mitul Trivedi, the accused, used his bogus name to recruit more pupils to his tuition sessions in Surat. According to PTI, he went so far as to fabricate a bogus appointment letter dated February 26, 2022, naming him as the "assistant chairman" of ISRO's "Ancient Science Application Department" to back up his phoney claims.
