Diesel's Rs 60,000 Winter Jacket Reminds People Of 'Patta Gobhi'?

The fashion industry always comes up with unique designs, which can sometimes be outrageously bizarre for the price point they are offered at. More often than not, luxury fashion houses create designs that are hit or miss.

Taking to the latter is a new creation by Diesel that has so far failed to impress internet users. Infact, the winter wear by the luxury fashion house is getting trolled and weirdly reminds people of 'patta gobhi.' Here is what they created and why it is getting trolled.

Paying Rs 60,000 to look like a "patta gobi" in the name of runway fashion has failed to impress people on the internet. The price of a jacket has aggravated people on the internet with its troll-worthy design.

A photo of the green jacket that, according to some, would make the wearer resemble a walking cabbage was shared on Twitter by a user named Anu. "Patta gobhi jaisa dikhne ke liye inko ?60,000 du main?" she wrote.

Diesel is an example of a luxury apparel business that frequently creates things with outrageously high prices that also have an absurd appearance. In fact, when it comes to offending Twitter's fashion sensibilities, Diesel has a history of doing so. Do you recall the peculiar skirt with a velcro fastening that cost Rs 82,000?

This time, Diesel describes the jacket as a "bad dye job." And Twitter agrees. The description of the jacket on a fashion retail website reads, "Men's winter jacket in padded recycled ripstop. Overprinted to simulate a bad dye job, the fabric is gathered using a smocking technique, resulting in a puffy, box-like pattern. The silhouette has a high, hooded neckline." The jacket comes in two colours, one of which is getting trolled for resembling a leafy vegetable.

Needless to say, the tweet grabbed people's attention and prompted people to comment about the jacket. Following Anu's tweet, a man said that he would not even give 200 rupees for this jacket. "Mai to 200 se ek Paisa na jyada du," he tweeted.
