Driver Buys Brand New Rs 2.5 Crore Supercar Ferrari 488, Crashes After Driving It Just Less Than 4 Km

If you have to get behind the wheel, at least make sure you are trained enough to drive the car safely out of a showroom. Sadly, for a British driver, the exact opposite happened and he crashed their brand-spanking-new Ferrari.
The luxury sports car, believed to be a Ferrari 488, sustained major damage in the crash in Derby, England, on the morning of April Fool's Day, the BBC reported.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit, which posted photos of the aftermath of the crash on Twitter, said the driver who had purchased the Ferrari earlier in the morning, was unhurt and no other vehicles were involved.
According to police, the driver had driven less than 2 miles from the dealership after taking delivery of the Italian supercar.

Photos shared by the police show the front bonnet of the vehicle crumpled with scratches all across it.
There are also scuffs on the curb, further supporting the idea that the Ferrari nosed into the barrier sideways, presumably during what appears to be rash driving.
"East Midlands Ambulance service alerted us to reports of a collision on St Alkmund's Way in Derby just before 11 am today. One vehicle was involved in the collision. No injuries were reported," a Derbyshire Police spokesperson was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.
"The car was moved off the road and the driver arranged for their own recovery. The driver was not arrested or charged with any offence," they added.
