18-Year-Old Drug Dealer Caught Selling 'Cheapest Ever Cocaine' On Snapchat

A teenage drug dealer will be regretting his actions after he was jailed for showing off pictures of wraps of cocaine on his Snapchat.

Ethan Pope, 18, started dealing drugs at just 15 and would offer discounts for bulk sales over ?1,000, a court heard. He would take pictures of his stash and upload them to Snapchat, boasting the big collection of white powder were the ¡®rawest about at the cheapest price¡¯.

There were also Facebook messages detailing ecstasy deals and texts relating to the trafficking of ketamine.

But he was found out when a ¡®disgruntled¡¯ friend tipped off the police, it was reported by Metro.

When police raided his home, they found around ?1,000 worth of cannabis. A court in UK's Cardiff heard Pope was in business with former friends Adam O¡¯Reilly, 18, and Kane Watkins, 19, before things ¡®turned sour.¡¯ The court heard Pope sold the drugs between December 2017 and November 2020.

Judge David Wynn Morgan told Pope: ¡®Class A drugs are a scourge. They create havoc within the communities in which they are rife. They cause misery and degradation. You were dealing in these drugs over a significant period of time and in significant quantities."

He pleaded guilty to being involved in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, cannabis and Xanax.

His other two friends, O'Reilly and Watkins, were jailed last November, for three years.

They too had been caught out via social media, having posted selfies with the cash they had made from dealing cocaine.

Having bragged to their friends about how much money they had been making selling the class A drug, they went as far as sending them a series of pictures of them flaunting a stash of banknotes they had earned.

After police raided his home, they found pictures on his phone, which led them to discover more than ?6,000 ($7,800) in cash, as well as ?3,700 ($4,800) worth of cocaine and ?3,000 ($3,900) of ketamine.

Well, they all are now paying the ultimate sacrifice and are serving lengthy prison sentences where they can now reflect on the life choices they made.
