Merry Monolith: 'Gingerbread Monolith' With Frosting & Gumdrops Shows Up In San Francisco
How many is it now? 2020 continues to fuck with us. This time a mysterious, but slightly less 'alien' and threatening albeit more fluffy, 'gingerbread monolith' has appeared in Corona Heights Park, San Francisco, U.S. And it was right on time for Christmas too. Talk about keeping up with the festivities.

The irony of the location's name is not lost on me. It's fitting really that this time le monolith would make 'corona heights' its home. This one's also covered in really white frosting and colourful gumdrops.

Monoliths so far:
And quite the globe-trotting monolith it is too. There was one seen in Utah on November 18. Two weeks later it was removed. Then there was the one in Romania that showed upon November 27 before disappearing on December 1. Then one popped up in California on December 2.
Then there was the one in Pittsburgh seen on December 3 but apparently it was purposely planted by the owners of Grandpa Joe¡¯s Candy Shop, so that doesn't count, I guess. This made the one that landed in Las Vegas the fifth monolith to grace these grounds.

Colorado got its monolith on December 5, and Columbia got a gold one on the same day. On December 6, yet another metal monolith was spotted in The Netherlands. Then there was the one seen on the Isle of Wight in England on December 8. This was also the day there was one seen in El Paso, Texas.
And now, the Christmas-special monolith landed in San Francisco. Phew!

There were all sorts of reactions online. Someone wrote their dog was sad because they didn't let him eat it. Another user wrote 'Could this one last? It does seem a bit sticky. A true Christmas miracle, we all can agree?'
Makes you wonder if there'll be one for New Year's too or the day we get a COVID-19 vaccine that works a 100 per cent. Time will tell.
