When Police Attention Was Drawn To An Intoxicated Man's Bull Ride In Rishikesh
This man became an entirely different person after drinking too much. It's as if he's been possessed by the spirit of a devious imposter.
#WTF2023 is a major throwback to 40 off-the-wall stories that defined India in 2023. Bizarre incidents, crazy jugaad and food you won't believe made it to a plate, it's all here.
Have you ever been in a circumstance where a friend or family member drank too much and then became an entirely different person? It's as if they've been possessed by the spirit of a devious imposter intent on making the night more thrilling (or unpleasant) for everyone involved.
Yes, intoxicated people do strange things, which is what makes them so amusing (and even terrifying) to be around. This one is very frightening. Grab a drink (or not) and let's look into this man's strange actions after becoming drunk that led to his arrest.
Who was the drunk man who rode a bull in Rishikesh?
According to Uttarakhand police, a video that went viral a few days ago showing a young man riding a bull along a street was shot in Rishikesh's Tapovan district.
The inebriated young man attempted to create a viral video, resulting in legal action. Not only did the occurrence generate a commotion at midnight, but it also involved animal misbehavior. According to the police, legal action was taken against the adolescent, and he was instructed not to play such animal pranks again in the future.
What action did the authorities take?
"Taking cognizance of the video circulated on social media about a drunk youth riding on a bull in Tapovan, Rishikesh, late at night on May 5, legal action has been taken against the youth, and the youth was warned not to misbehave with animals in this manner in the future," Uttarakhand police tweeted in Hindi.

While many people were taken aback and thought the video was inappropriate, others compared it to Jallikattu and claimed the young man had done nothing to merit legal action.
Jallikattu is an event in which a bull is thrown into a crowd of spectators, and everyone attempts to grip the bull's enormous back hump with both arms as it runs.
Why is it wrong to use animals for our entertainment?
Using animals such as horses, elephants, or camels for transportation is typically considered animal cruelty, especially in locations with significant traffic or long working hours.
Long hours of work, harsh weather conditions, and a lack of sufficient care and treatment may cause physical and mental stress for these animals. Furthermore, some transportation animals may be subjected to harsh practices such as overloading, beating, or deprivation of food and water.
As a result, numerous animal rights organisations and activists push for alternatives to animal-based transportation as well as the humane care of animals used in such capacities. Watch the man riding a bull here.
