Karnataka Farmer Lodges Police Complaint Against His Cows For Not Giving Milk Despite Being Fed
A farmer in Karnataka filed a police complaint against his cows because they were not giving milk despite being fed properly.
The cows should be held accountable, really? A farmer in Karnataka filed a police complaint against his cows because they were not giving milk despite being fed properly.
The farmer named Ramaiah, who hails from Sidlipura village in Bhadravati taluk of Shivamogga district, alleged that the cows had not been producing milk for four days, despite providing them with food, Deccan Herald reported.
It seems the farmer took the cows to graze each day from 8 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 6 pm, but they haven't been yielding any output in return.
"But they are not giving milk for the last four days. So, police must convince them to give milk," he said.
With the same thought, he requested the cops to call them to the police station and give them advice to give milk. Of course, he had no other option. Isn't that right?
As per the report in Deccan Herald, the police said they tried to convince the farmer that such a complaint could not be registered, but he persisted. Meanwhile, the complaint went viral on social media.
Last month, a farmer from Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district went to a police station taking along his buffalo. He complained that the animal was refusing to be milked and he suspected it to be under the influence of witchcraft.
A video of the farmer seeking assistance from the police in Nayagaon village also surfaced on social media.
A farmer in MP took his buffalo to a police station on Saturday, complaining that the animal refused to be milked & was possibly under the influence of witchcraft. However, police helped him with some veterinary advice, following which, his issue was resolved.

"The villager, identified as Babulal Jatav (45), submitted a complaint at Nayagaon police station, saying his buffalo had not been allowed to be milked since the past few days," PTI quoted Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Arvind Shah, as saying.
According to the complainant, some villagers told him that the animal was under the influence of witchcraft, he said.
The farmer again reached the police station four hours after filing the application with his buffalo and sought help from the police again.
"I had told the police station in-charge to assist the villager with some veterinary advice. The villagers again reached the police station today to thank the police, saying the buffalo was allowed to be milked," DSP Shah said.
