Nightclub Busted In West Delhi For Hosting Illegal Party During Coronavirus Lockdown
31 people were arrested for partying at a nightclub in Paschim Vihar on the night of July 14. Police officials discovered that the club was hosting the party as well as serving hookah and liquor.
The coronavirus-induced pandemic has changed the rules for a lot of things and restrictions on gathering of large crowds is one of them. However, people are still failing to grasp the concept of staying home and maintaining distance from others which is landing them into massive trouble.
31 people were arrested for partying at a nightclub in Paschim Vihar on the night of July 14, reported Times of India. Police officials discovered that the club was hosting the party as well as serving hookah and liquor which is banned during the pandemic.

The club named 'Playgue' was being run under the facade of a restaurant with a takeaway facility. Police officials were tipped-off about the social gathering after several cars were parked outside the venue. When the cops reached the club, they found people dancing, and tables were occupied by guests who were smoking and drinking.
Four quarters and seven bottles of liquor were seized by the authorities along with 77 beer bottles and eight hookas.
¡°We have sealed the club and will conduct a Covid-19 test on all the visitors. If any of them are found positive, they will be booked for additional violations under various sections of IPC,¡± said a police officer.

The owners of the club - Lavish Khurana and his brother, Kashish Khuran - were also present at the party. They have been booked under IPC Section 188 (violation of government order) and various other sections of Excise Act, Epidemic Diseases Act, Disaster Management Act and Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act. The club also does not have a license to serve liquor.

During interrogation, it was discovered that the club had formed a WhatsApp group of customers who had visited earlier and a message was sent on Monday that the club would be open for select people. The music was played at a low volume to avoid attracting any attention from the neighbourhood. However, that did not work out since the plan got busted.
