Kailasaa's objectives, as per its website, include the preservation, restoration, and revival of an enlightened culture and civilisation based on authentic Hinduism. Other lofty ideals and objectives of Kailaasa allegedly includes universal free healthcare, free education for all, free food, and revival of a temple-based lifestyle.
Shortly before reports of Nithyananda¡¯s ¡°new country¡± named Kailaasa¡± surfaced online, a video shows him addressing an audience in the video where he says, ¡°No stupid court can prosecute me for revealing the truth,"
The website says that the self-styled fugitive godman has declared the island a ¡®Hindu sovereign nation¡¯ and has established a cabinet along with a prime minister for his so-called nation ¡°Kailaasa¡±.
It has also called for donations for ¡°Kailaasa¡± and the ones donating will be provided with an opportunity to gain citizenship of the ¡°greatest Hindu nation,¡± reported NDTV.
The website reads: ¡°Kailaasa is a nation without borders created by dispossessed Hindus from around the world who lost the right to practice Hinduism authentically in their own countries.¡±
