Mind-bending Optical Illusion Of Six Women With Only Five Pairs Of Legs Is All Kinds Of Crazy

Another day, another optical illusion to examine. Unlike a couple of weeks ago, where we couldn't decipher two animals concealed in the 'mermaid' picture, this time we are looking at an old picture of six women sitting on a sofa.

Only there's a small problem - as we can see only FIVE pairs of legs in the picture. The girl in the middle of the couch appears completely legless.

Let's dissect the picture and try to figure this one out. The six friends are sitting on a couch, with one perched on the arm at the end. We know which set of legs belongs to her. So, that leaves us with the other five women.

It's the five friends on the couch who are causing the drama. There are five women on the couch, but only four sets of legs. It appears third woman from the left is missing her legs.

The woman in question is leaning. This means the legs to the right belong to her, as per Insider.

The second female from the left is wearing black pants and her legs are hidden. They are being obscured by the woman who is sitting on the far left.

Needless to say, people have been left puzzled as they said the picture ¡°doesn¡¯t add up¡±.

¡°I actually think the first girl has get legs draped over the second girls legs," one Reddit user said.

"The first girl is sitting over the second girl¡¯s legs," another commented.

"Is that the Grim Reaper poking its head up between girl #3 and girl #4?" a third user quipped.

This isn't the first time such an illusion has left people bamboozled. Another optical illusion appearing to show a woman with three legs caused a stir.

The brain teaser shows a woman waiting at a German airport wearing black bottoms and classic Vans trainers. However, as you look closer, the woman appears to have an extra limb. Confusing, right?

At first glance, it looks as if the traveller's got an extra leg styled in the same attire. But that's not the case. What you can't see is her companion, who was sitting beside her.

Last year, a picture of four guys backpacking through the woods went viral. Well, nine times out of ten, your brain won't be able to see the fourth guy, thanks to the optical illusion.
