Pics: Olive Python Swallows Australian Freshwater Crocodile After Epic Battle

What would happen if a python and a crocodile had a fight? Who do you think will win?

I would definitely bet for the crocodile. But then I'd lose the bet because of this python. An olive python had a fight with Australian freshwater crocodile whole and the python swallowed the crocodile whole.

The grisly pictures were clicked by kayaker in Mount Isa, Queensland and shared online by GG Wildlife Rescue, a nonprofit in Australia.

Trust me the pictures are very disturbing but they have gone viral.

Snakes can stretch their mouths and open it extremely wide because of its separated lower jaw, according to Live Science. They can eat animals, even larger than themselves, including deer, alligators, crocodiles and of course humans.

The olive python is native to Australia and can grow up to 13 feet in length. In 2017, an Indonesian man was also found dead inside the belly of a giant 23-foot python.

A couple of months ago, a redback spider (also known as Black Widow spiders) and a venomous eastern brown snake had a fight. Guess who won? No, not the venomous snake but the spider emerged as the winner. Facebook user Robyn McLennan came across a really terrifying sight in Victoria, Australia last week.

Robyn posted pictures of the spider taking on the snake to a Facebook group called Naturalists Club of Victoria and it quickly went viral.

Three photos were shared by Robyn which showed the redback spider, trapping the snake in its web. What¡¯s more surprising is that the spider managed to lift the snake off the ground completely.

Another incident took place, where a picture went viral that shows a rock squirrel holding a snake using both paws before it devoured it ¡®down to the last inch¡¯.

The picture was shared on Facebook by USA¡¯s National Park Service, who said that it was clicked at the Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas

¡®Rock squirrels eat mostly plant material, fruits and nuts, but don't let their humble appearance fool you. They will also eat bird eggs, lizards and snakes,¡¯ they wrote while sharing the photograph.
