In a bizarre pop-culture moment, a prankster entered New York Fashion Week and forcibly walked the ramp of a show in a garbage bag and shower cap.
It happened! YouTube pranksters have always had a strong presence on the Internet. Back in the Jake Paul and Hype House eras on the platform, pranks were viral all the time. These instances, though, grew more hazardous at times, which led to scrutiny and numerous cancellations on Twitter.
A Prankster In Garbage Bag Gets Tackled At New York Fashion Week
However, it seems the era of pranks on the internet is back. Recently, a prankster has been all over the internet after he decided to walk the New York Fashion Week runway with a bizarre outfit on.
In clips of him going around the internet, the prankster is seen wearing a transparent garbage bag as a T-shirt, which he paired with some neon shorts and a garbage bag.

The man was later identified as 21-year-old YouTuber Fred Byer.New York Fashion Week started on Friday and has been grabbing eyeballs all over the world among fashion enthusiasts. The colossal fashion event is known for its stylish, daring, and sometimes strange outfits.
The Prankster Shakes Hands With Kanye West's Impersonator
But amidst all the excitement, with runway shows, parties, famous celebs, and glamour, there have also been absurd moments. The internet was surprised by a video from a runway event organised by Creators Inc. during New York Fashion Week, where the prankster went for a ramp walk just after a Kanye West impersonator came out in his "Jewish Lives Matter" fit.
Byer was caught on camera as he walked the ramp and even stopped Fake Ye on his way backstage. Byer extended a handshake to the impersonator, which he accepted, and in the clip, it looks like Byer even says something to the man before continuing his walk down the ramp.
People sitting for the show were somehow confused and astonished. They clearly seemed puzzled by the prankster's sudden show-up on the ramp, not knowing if he was part of the show or not. However, things became crystal clear when a security guard rushed in to tackle the YouTuber and forced him to leave the premises.
