Pune Woman Starved And Tied By In-Laws For Selling Her Menstrual Blood For Black Magic

As per Sakal, a woman's in-laws earned 50,000 rupees from selling her menstrual blood for witchcraft.

The woman told her parents about what happened in Beed today.
This made them file the FIR. Since her marriage in 2019, the woman claims her in-laws have been harassing her.
According to the FIR, the accused tied the victim's hands and feet during her period, then used a cotton swab to gather her menstrual blood before selling it for witchcraft for 50,000 rupees.
The woman reported the event to the police after speaking to her parents.
The accused have been arrested following the 2013 Maharashtra Act for the Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil, and Aghori Activities and Black Magic.

"The victim woman has stated in her complaint that she was starved for three days during her monthly period, and her menstrual blood was collected and sold to someone for Rs 50,000 for some black magic purposes," Dr. Kayande said.
When Pune Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil heard the news, he asked that the worst punishments in the Indian Penal Code be given to those who did this.

In January, a lady from an educated upbringing reported to the Sinhgad Road police that she was forced into taking human bone powder as part of a black magic ritual to conceive.
Seven members of her family were arrested after the incident and charged with the same act under Sections 498A, 323, 504,506 of IPC along with section 3 of the anti-superstition law.
