Challan Sent To Ratan Tata's Office Revealed A Woman Was Fraudulently Using His Car Number
The accused woman has told the police that she was unaware of the fact that the number belonged to Ratan Tata's car and it was her numerologist who suggested her to put that number on her vehicle to "get profit in life".
In a serious case of violation of Motor Vehicles Act in Mumbai, a case of illegally using car number of famous businessman Ratan Tata has surfaced.
The accused allegedly used the number plate of a car that belongs to Ratan Tata. The case came to light when the woman was found violating traffic rules and the fines were sent to Ratan Tata.

According to reports, the accused woman has told the police that she was unaware of the fact that the number belonged to Ratan Tata's car and it was her numerologist who suggested she put that number on her vehicle to "get profit in life."

The accused faces arrest and has now been called for questioning by the police. According to police, Ratan Tata was getting fined for traffic violations. Recently, an e-challan was sent to Ratan Tata's office for a traffic violation in Worli. The officials of Tata group informed that the car had not committed any traffic violations.

When police investigated the matter, they found the car with the same number plate as that of Ratan Tata¡¯s was left abandoned in Five Gardens area in Mumbai¡¯s Matunga.
"The accused used a fake number plate by altering original number plate to take advantage of numerology. All the e-challans sent to car owned by Ratan Tata are now transferred to accused," the police was quoted as saying by India Today.

The probe was initiated after CM's office directed action over the e-challans were sent to Tata office in Worli. The police had sent an e-challan to Ratan Tata's office, but on being told that no such incident had happened in their knowledge, the cops scanned the CCTV footage of the places where e-challans were issued.

Police seized the vehicle and launched an investigation into the matter. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was driven by some woman. Police were yet to identify the woman and was searching for the accused.

As per the Indian Motor vehicles Act, new rules that has come to the force since September 2019, those driving vehicles without permit will be charged Rs 10,000 fine or sentenced to six months' prison time.
