People Are Reeling In Shock Looking At The Expensive Menu Of Salt Bae's New Restaurant 'Nusr-Et'
Turkish chef Nusret Gokce, also known as 'Salt Bae', has opened a new restaurant in London. Twitter users were shocked to see the exorbitant prices.
Popular chef Salt Bae or Nusret G?k?e is someone who is often seen cutting the meat or serving food at some of his fancy restaurants for Hollywood actors, famous footballers, and other celebrities.
The Turkish food entertainer became an internet sensation a couple of years back after his unique technique of preparing and seasoning meat became an Internet meme. He now spends all his time at his many fancy restaurants that cater to renowned celebrities and politicians.
However, the renowned chef has added another new restaurant to the long list of eateries he already owns. He has opened the 'Nusr-Et Steakhouse London' in the United Kingdom, which is located in the Knightsbridge area of central London. The new outlet has gained the attention of food lovers who have rushed to the restaurant to try out the exquisite food.
However, the apparently glamorous fine dining restaurant was called out by Twitter users after an invoice from the restaurant surfaced online. The bill lists 22 different items that were ordered at the restaurant. The cheapest item cost ?9 and a Turkish tea was free of cost. But what left netizens baffled was the price of items like fries, a Giant Tomahawk steak, a burger, Prawn Tempura Rolls.
A single meal at the restaurant set the customers back by 1800 Pounds or approximately Rs. 1.80 lakh.

Twitter users were shocked to see the expensive prices on the bill and took it to social media to talk about it.
Honestly this needs to be a wake up call. Absolutely ridiculous to spend this sort of money on a meal it¡¯s just obscene. You are clearly being ripped off, it¡¯s there in black and white to see, No cut of beef is worth ?630, You were charged ?11 for a can of red bull. FFS

?9 for a Coke implies you are going to fight them on the discretionary service charge. ?10.35 for a Coke.

Interestingly, this is not the first restaurant by Salt Bae to come under flak for the excessive costs. Earlier this year, the Miami outlet of Nusr-Et restaurant had also been called out by many for overpriced food.
Well, this may cost us a kidney for sure.
