Just when we're trying to come to terms with the brutal rape of a Hyderabad woman and the police inaction, halfway around the world, things seem to be just as bad.
In a gut-wrenching incident, a cop working with the Los Angeles police department--considered one of the most efficient police forces in the world--was caught groping a dead woman's breasts.

The LA Times report states that the unnamed officer in the Central Division responded to a call about a dead woman in a residential apartment.
After arriving, the officer and his partner concluded that the woman was in fact deceased.
The incident took place when the unnamed cop's colleague stepped out briefly to the patrol car to retrieve something. Reports state that the shameless cop had, in fact, turned off the body camera while fondling the dead woman's breasts.
But as he turned the camera on again, a portion of his actions was captured.
According to Metro UK, the cameras worn by the LAPD cops have a two-minute buffer when they are turned off. They automatically start saving video and audio two minutes before they are turned on.
A press release by the LAPD reads, 'Although the officer deactivated the camera, a two-minute buffer on the device captured the incident. The department is also investigating the officer¡¯s work history.'
'We immediately launched an administrative investigation once we learned about the incident,¡± chief spokesman Josh Rubenstein said, ¡°and we assigned the officer to home.'
'If this allegation is true, then the behavior exhibited by this officer is not only wrong, but extremely disturbing, and does not align with the values we, as police officers, hold dear, and these values include respect and reverence for the deceased,¡¯ the department¡¯s board of directors said in a statement.
What goes on in the minds of these depraved beings? Don't they fear the law, don't they fear getting caught? What do you think?
