People use wild animals for their own entertainment, and sometimes, things can get out of hand.
Singer Maeta recently took to Instagram to share the horrifying moment when she was bitten in the face by a snake while shooting a music video.
The 21-year-old, who signed to play Jay-Z's label Roc Nation earlier this year, was seen lying on the floor in a black lace bodysuit with a black snake moving on her chest.
However, things did not go as planned because within a few seconds of the young singer coming in contact with the reptile, the snake bit her face. The black snake moved closer to her face and went for her chin.
Fortunately, the singer was quick to grab the snake and move it away but it had already managed to bite her.
Posting the video on to her Instagram page, she wrote: "What I go through to make videos for y'all."
The clip has collected over 4.4 lakh views in less than a week.
Despite the follow-up posts by the singer, her followers were super worried and said she was lucky to escape the attack.
A user wrote, "You got off easy. That little guy didnĄ¯t even get a grip. Please donĄ¯t let this one experience give you a negative mindset about these beautiful animals."
"The snake said 'oh look, a snack'," while another added: "Oh hell no, you're a trooper... hope they at least got a decent shot," wrote another.
Earlier this year, a video showed a zookeeper being attacked on the face by a python.
Zookeeper Jay Brewer, founder of The Reptile Zoo near Los Angeles, posts videos of animals he takes care of, from giraffes and elephants to Komodo dragons and saltwater crocodiles, on Instagram.
