Believe It Or Not, The Simpsons Also 'Predicted' Trump's Arrest And Barbie Movie
Fans of "The Simpsons" believe the long-running animated television show has again predicted two unrelated current events on the same day.
Can sitcoms predict the future? Is it possible? The Simpsons, an American animated sitcom, is known for making uncanny predictions or so its fans believe. The show has made predictions for 2023, too, and some of them are unsettling.
Fans of The Simpsons believe the long-running animated television show has again predicted two unrelated current events on the same day. Social media users said the clairvoyant cartoon predicted former President Donald Trump's arraignment and Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie hysteria.
Both incidents were allegedly plot points in The Simpsons episode 'Lisa vs Malibu Stacy' from 1994. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, making him the first former president to be indicted.

You'll be surprised to learn about the prediction that came true just a few days ago: the Barbie film and Trump's detention. Former US President Donald Trump was arrested and charged with a crime on April 4. He was the first former President of the United States to be arrested.
On the very same day, the trailer for the Barbie movie was released. Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is one of the most talked about films. While these current events appear to have nothing in common, both were allegedly plot points in a 1994 episode of The Simpsons.
This latest instance of art foreshadowing life occurred during an episode titled "Lisa vs Malibu Stacy," in which Lisa Simpson attempts to persuade Barbie creators to create a more feminist toy that empowers young girls.
The banana-skinned Springfieldians are seen watching a TV show where anchor Kent Brockman addresses her campaign in one of the scenes, a clip that has gone viral on social media.
