This Heartbreaking Picture Of Elephant Feeding On Plastic Is Proof That We've Ruined The Planet
Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared a picture of a forest land filled with waste. Kaswan tweeted Kaswan along with a heartbreaking photograph of an elephant who is looking for food on a land full of plastic waste. The picture went viral within no time leaving many heartbroken.
Climate change and plastic pollution are the biggest challenges that humans face at the moment. Despite many initiatives by the government, plastic is still piling up and the main reason for plastic pollution is that we do not care about the future generation thus ruining the present scenario too.
In a bid to discourage the use of plastics and bring attention to the issue, Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared a picture of a forest land filled with waste.
¡®When cities expand, our dump yards also expand. #Forest land seems easy target for them. This is what our plastic & other waste is doing to wildlife. A marvellous creature on human waste,¡¯ tweeted Kaswan along with a heartbreaking photograph of an elephant who is looking for food on a land filled with plastic waste. Can you think of trying to find food and end up eating plastic and dying instead?

If this does not inspire people to act what will?

We should all be ashamed of ourselves for ruining the home of these innocent creatures and turning it into a complete dumping ground. The worst part is that this is not even the first such incident. To be honest they do not deserve all of this.
