'Hold My Beer' Says US Man To Cops After Being Pulled Over For Driving Under The Influence

There are things to do during a traffic stop, but this is not one of them. A man in US' Texas literally asked a cop who pulled him over for driving erratically to hold his beer.
According to a report in KWTX, an unidentified man was picked up earlier this month when he was found driving while intoxicated. If that wasn't enough, he apparently gave one of the two arresting officers beverage to hold in the Lake Waco area.
The traffic stop reportedly occurred when a man in a truck driving on the wrong side of the road cut the officers off. The man then drove on the wrong side of the road before the cops pulled him over, police said.
When officers approached the truck, the man was having trouble turning down his music, they said. As he fumbled with the radio, he apparently handed one of the officers an open beer so he could concentrate.
As per New York Daily News, his speech was slurred and his coordination was said to have been compromised. A sobriety test reportedly confirmed the motorist was intoxicated.
The Houston Chronicle reports the man was arrested. That outlet reported that cops publish blotters roughly once a month. It¡¯s unclear exactly when the incident occurred.
Well, this isn't something you get to hear everyday. 'Hold my beer' given a news dimension, courtesy the man from Texas.
He must surely be regretting it now. After all, there is no beer in prison and not sure any would prefer to hold it either.
