How far can one go in order to stay young? It is not a new discovery that people in Hollywood are obsessed with looking young and skinny, no matter what it takes. However, a woman¡¯s story from Arizona is perking the ears of many on the Internet. 50-year-old Kelly Beasley sold her house to be able to afford a facelift to look younger and now lives in a van.
Woman Sells House To Get Facelift Surgery, Now Lives In Van
A woman sold her three-bedroom house in Arizona to pay for a $14,000 (Rs 11 Lakh) facelift surgery. She wanted to make her face look younger and decided to use the money from selling her house to afford the procedure.
Beasley is a blogger who lives in Lake Tahoe, California. She sold her house and now travels in a van. She got a fresh new face through plastic surgery. She hopes to end the shame surrounding such procedures and wants people to feel proud and not embarrassed about getting plastic surgery.
She told SWNS how around the age of 48, she noticed that he face was changing drastically as signs of old age had started to reflect on her skiing through wrinkles and spots. She revealed that using other injectables, like fillers, which she had been using for 15 years, wouldn't bring the change she wanted. So, she sold her home as a backup plan to get the money she needed for the surgery.
The Results Of The Surgery Were Beyond Her Expectations
In her recollection of the moment, she said, ¡°The results are beyond what I expected. I didn¡¯t expect to look younger.¡± she added, ¡°I¡¯m loving my look and looking my most fabulous that I can.¡±
The 50-year-old woman realized she wanted the procedure, but local plastic surgeons asked for $50,000 (Rs 41 Lakh) to $60,000 (Rs 49 Lakh), which was too expensive. Then, she saw a TikTok video of a woman who had the same procedure in Tijuana, Mexico, for only $14,000 (Rs 11 Lakh), and the results were impressive.
Beasley joined a Facebook group called EOC Plastics, which helps people organize plastic surgeries in Mexico. After reading about other women's experiences, she decided to join the cancellation list for the surgery.
However, when she got the okay for the surgery in January she refused. At the time, Beasley did not feel ready. The next time her name got cranked up on the waiting list a month later, she wracked up the courage to say yes and went through with the surgery.
