two women born in the same hospital are planning to sue the medical facility. Why? Turns out, Tina Ennis and Jill Lopez, both born on May 18, 1964, were switched at birth at Duncan Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Oklahoma.
Sometimes, real life seems like a movie because stuff like this will always sound made up. However, these two women wished that it was made up, and not their life because this is a tough one - two women born in the same hospital are planning to sue the medical facility. Why? Turns out, Tina Ennis and Jill Lopez, both born on May 18, 1964, were switched at birth at Duncan Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Oklahoma.
The shocking revelation came to light after Tina took a DNA test from Ancestry.com to know more about her family. However, when the results arrived, it displayed a list of names she had never heard of. After some gruelling research, Tina found out that the two names from the list - Joyce and John Brister - were her biological twins.
However, the bigger shock was when Tina's mother, Kathryn Jones, took the test and her result did not match with her daughter's. Then, Tina realised that she might have been switched at birth.
Jill Lopez and Tina Ennis were born on the same day in 1964 and grew up about two hours away from one another as total strangers. At the age of 55, they discovered they had been switched when they were babies in the hospital. @tvkatesnow shares their story. pic.twitter.com/8G6PAYbYur

Not an easy thing to digest after so many years, Tina started looking for people who shared her birthday and eventually came across Jill, who was born in the same hospital and even had a resemblance to Kathryn.
So, when Jill took the DNA test, the result showed that Kathryn was her biological mother.
"All I could think about was how I was going to tell my mom. I just thought she¡¯s not going to be able to handle it," said Tina. Kathryn was 'totally devastated and heartbroken' by the news.
¡°I could not lose Tina. She¡¯ll always be my daughter. I have loved her from the second they laid her in my arms,¡± said Kathryn.
Tina, Jill and Kathryn are now planning to sue the hospital for this unfortunate mishap and causing them lifelong grievances. According to the hospital's statement, they were no longer responsible for the incident as it was merged with another hospital in 1975.
While Jill and Kathryn were able to reunite, Tina was unfortunately unable to meet her biological parents since they had passed away.
